Consular and embassy legalization
For countries that do not recognise the Apostille, we manage the entire legalization chain — from the competent Greek authority to the embassy or consulate.
For countries that have not joined the Hague Convention — including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Egypt, among others — documents must go through consular legalization: successive certifications by the competent authorities of the issuing country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and finally the embassy or consulate of the destination country.
The legalization chain differs from country to country and requirements change often. Before we start, we confirm the current rules for your destination country and document type and give you a clear plan.
The same applies the other way round: documents from non-Hague countries to be used in Greece need to be legalized by the Greek embassy or consulate in the issuing country. Through our international network we coordinate that step too.
