Bulgarian is written in the Cyrillic alphabet. Personal names are rendered exactly as they appear in the passport or another official identity document, so there are no discrepancies between your documents. For Greek names we follow the passport spelling or, where none exists, the ELOT 743 transliteration standard.

Does a document issued in a Bulgarian-speaking country need an Apostille?
It depends on whether the issuing country is party to the Hague Convention. If it is, an Apostille is usually required before translation; if not, consular legalization. We check what applies to your document before we start.
Do you translate from Bulgarian into languages other than Greek?
