An Apostille is sufficient for countries that are party to the 1961 Hague Convention. For all other countries, consular legalization is required: successive certifications by ministries and by the embassy or consulate of the destination country.

Usually the Apostille is placed on the original document before translation, so that the Apostille itself is translated too. Some countries additionally require the translation to be certified. We guide you according to the destination country.

Then an Apostille is not sufficient and consular legalization through the ministry and the embassy or consulate is required. We handle that procedure as well.

Not on a simple photocopy. In many cases, however, it can be placed on a copy certified by a notary. We check what applies to your document.

If it is not drafted in Greek, a certified translation is required for use in Greece. A bilingual power of attorney often simplifies the process.

Yes. Depending on the case, the act is carried out in Greece via a power of attorney or in the country where you are through our international network, and legalized so that it is valid in Greece.

In most cases yes. Some certificates can only be issued to a third party with an authorisation or power of attorney, which we can also arrange.

The earlier the better, especially for rarer languages or on the islands. For urgent needs, contact us and we will look for an available interpreter.
